Only Perimeter has 12X Battery Check™, which monitors the condition of the battery every two hours, all day, every day. 12X Battery Check™ actually measures the batteries' ability to supply the right amount of power when needed. Other systems check only once when the voltage drops and are prone to false low battery indications- wasting your time and money.

Temp Check:

The performance of electronics and batteries can vary greatly with temperature fluctuations. But not with a Perimeter product

Ordinary pet fence collars sensitivity can vary up to 100% with temperatures between 90 degrees F and 30 degrees F. As temperatures fluctuate your pet's fence will actually shrink and expand by up to 12 feet! Perimeter systems are stable over temperature with a variance of only 5% or 6 inches
