1.
Why should I buy underground fences?
Underground fences are a cheaper and better alternative to conventional fences. They require less maintenance than the traditional kind and dogs can't dig under it. The system is especially
designed to keep your dog within a given boundary
or keep them a distance from the off limit
areas in your home. It also saves you from the effort of hiring expensive dog trainers.
2. What is an In-ground Dog Fencing system?
An in-ground fence allows you to control and design the area you want to keep your dog within. Basically, there are three (3) parts in an In-ground Dog Fencing system: the Transmitter, Wire, and the Collar Receiver. The Transmitter is plugged into a standard outlet and sends out a radio signal to the wire which is buried and connected to the transmitter that makes a boundary to contain your dog. On the other hand, the collar receiver is placed on your dog's collar and is designed to pick up the radio signal emitted by the transmitter and then travels through the wire. It will then alert the dog as he gets near the boundary (buried wire). and will receive a correction from the radio signal if he persists to go beyond.
3. Can I contain more than one dog?
Absolutely. With additional collar receivers that can be purchased separately, our dog containment system does not limit you to contain only one dog. Please see our selection of dog containment systems accessories and find the one that will fit your purchased system.
4. Is there another way to contain my dog without burying the wire?
Yes. Our “Underground Containment Systems” doesn't necessarily require you to bury the wire “underground”. We have Wire Securing installation Staples that can save you time and the hassle of digging. You can refer to our Above Ground Installation for the easy steps.
5. Are indoor zone fence systems made only for indoor use?
Though the indoor zones will ideally work for indoor use, they can also be used outdoors. However, in doing so, make sure that the range they operate will meet your needs.
